15th Amendment

SECTION 1.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

SECTION 2.

The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
This relates doesn't relate to me because as a woman I'm still not allowed to vote. So for men this helps a lot, their race or color doesn't matter. Which is great.
This is a drawing of a black man being able to vote, even though the white men behind him aren't very happy about it, he is able to put in a vote because of the 15th amendment.

This again is showing all the different type of men getting to vote, but this time they are still shutting the women out. If you think about it though if all men didn't get the right to vote before women did (specially for black men) they may not have ever gotten to, or it would just take an extremely long time.
